World Maker Faire Hits New York September 25th

If you’ve never been to one of these events, you’re in for a surprise. A Maker Faire is the home to mind-boggling contraptions built by robotics hobbyists, amateur rocket scientists and electronics enthusiasts. The New York version of Maker Faire is currently scheduled for Sept. 25 to 26, and will take place at the New York Hall of Science. Organizers have a “call for entries” to find the right participants, so if you want to showcase your 3-D printer, home energy monitoring kits, vintage computers or that rusty robot you’ve been storing in your closet.
