Consider membership at Science.Events

In February of 2024 we launched a new membership program at science.events, and invited every individual we knew was associated with a Science Festival Alliance member festival. Members have been meeting online to share ideas and talk shop, and in addition to Zoom calls, we've now launched a members-only online forum and calendar of events. We've had to keep the number of people involved to a manageable level, so we have been adding members slowly and by invite only. However, if you are an individual affiliated with a festival that was part of the Science Festival Alliance, it is very easy to add you as a member at science.events. And if you are not, but would love to receive an invitation, please just contact us from here or science.events.

Membership at science.events is for individuals, is free, and gets you:

• Invites to all of our activities,
• a Regional Captain to look out for you, and
• access to resources being added to the members-only section of science.events.

In return we ask all science.events members to:

• Be an Oriented Human: stay informed and be nice to each other.
• Register an Ongoing Event Initiative: a very basic profile of your events so that everyone can know each a bit better
• Participate in the Community: Do whatever you find rewarding: join a virtual event or conversation, jump into the online forum, go to the Summit, or just be in touch with other members. We’ll check in four times a year to see how things are going, and need you to respond at least once.
