Festival Description

BASF-Logo-clearOrganized by the Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) at UC San Francisco (UCSF) in partnership with local scientific, cultural, and educational institutions, the Bay Area Science Festival (BASF) is an annual celebration of the unique science and technology of the Bay Area. With over 50 events from Santa Rosa to San Jose, the Bay Area Science Festival reaches more than 50,000 people each year.

Attendance has averaged well over 70,000, making BASF one of the largest science festivals in the country.
