IPSEC 2016 Call for Session Proposals

The deadline for session proposals has passed, but the conference program for IPSEC 2016 is still being assembled. We have some fantastic ideas for things we’d like to try at the meeting. If you do too, then use the simple form below to suggest a session to be included in the program. If we can integrate your ideas into the meeting we will, but now that it is after the session proposal deadline we may not be able to consider every proposal. You may find it helpful to peruse previous IPSEC programs for examples of past sessions: 2015 IPSEC program2014 IPSEC program2012 IPSEC program2011 IPSEC program The program committee is particularly interested in sessions that: - are applicable to a broad variety of different event formats; - go beyond “show-and-tell,” to share or develop deeper analysis and learning; - incorporate multiple viewpoints (including those from outside the field of science communication), and acknowledge the expertise of other IPSEC attendees; and - sound like a good time. Important Notes: - The program committee may choose to contact you to discuss modifications to any of the details of the session proposed, even including merging it with other proposed sessions. The last question on the form below is therefore the most important: please use this opportunity to clearly convey what you hope to achieve with the session. - As IPSEC 2016 approaches, we will issue a call to all attendees to participate in the Science Events Expo. This session allows all attendees to share their work on public science events with the rest of the conference.
